“Learn to protect the environment in which you live to generate beauty”.

As part of the numerous initiatives promoted, the Tourist Association Pro Loco of Opi, in collaboration with the Municipality, on 22 May 2021, organizes the “Ecological Day” dedicated to cleaning the territory.
In recent years, many clean-up campaigns have been carried out across Europe to tackle the problem of abandonment.

“Starting from the ecological day, the participants will be able to realize how much waste around them is abandoned. A unique opportunity to sensitize everyone to a greater attention to their behavior while respecting the surrounding environment.
The meeting is scheduled at 8.30 (for adults) – 9.30 (for children) in the central square of OPI. The participants, after having been indoctrinated on the operations to be performed, divided into teams, will move to reach the areas provided in the program.
Adults and children are invited to participate equipped with suitable clothes but above all a great desire to spend a few hours together in the open air and to dedicate their time for the well-being of our country and the people who live there.
At the end of the operations, at about 12.30, we will meet for a buffet offered by the Pro Loco.
